Honor Roll and SLE Awards

11/22/2019

The cool weather is officially here which makes it feel like Thanksgiving is around the corner. Next week, we will have school on Monday and Tuesday with regular dismissal at 3:10 p.m. both days.

This morning, we recognized the students who earned Honor Roll and the Schoolwide Learning Expectations. Students in grades 5-8 are recognized for earning honor roll when they earn all A's and B's in their core subjects. Students earn high honor roll when they earn all A's.

The Schoolwide Learning Expectations "SLE" Award recognizes students in grades K-8 who have gone above and beyond this trimester in their pursuit to grow in faith, lovingly serve others, and grow in knowledge. All students are expected to work on growing in these three areas, and each child reflected on his or her growth over the course of the trimester on the "SLE" report card which was sent home with the academic report card. The "SLE" Award is a way for students to be recognized for really working hard in one of these three areas during the fall.

Congratulations to our students who have earned their "SLE" Award and Honor Roll this trimester!
