Catholic Tuition Support Organization
The Catholic Tuition Support Organization (CTSO) allows Arizona taxpayers to direct some of their taxes – the money already deducted from their paychecks for state taxes or the money they will owe the state after completing their tax forms – to the Catholic school of their choice, and may even recommend student recipients enrolled in the referral plan using an assigned RP#. This is all made possible through the Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit Law (A.R.S. Section 43-1089) and the generous contributions of the public.
The CTSO provides scholarships to students with financial need, giving many students a choice in receiving a Catholic education who might not otherwise be able to afford it. It is available on a first come, first served basis, and is based on both financial need and student referrals as determined by a third party organization.
Arizona donation limits tend to increase every year and vary for joint vs. single filers. Please visit the CTSO website for current limits and to make a donation. Thank you on behalf of the student recipients!
