Communication
  • Teachers will communicate with online students via Google Classroom
  • Video conferencing will be through Google 
Attendance
  • Attendance will be based on participation in live meets and attempting the work for the day.
  • Students are expected to be present to school, and parents will be notify the school in the event of an absence. 
Lessons and Assignments
  • Lessons will cover the same standards and skills as the lessons that are being taught in the classroom
  • Assignments will be the same as the assignments being taught in the classroom
Instruction K-5·        
  • The classroom teacher will record or stream the direct instruction and lessons as the class is happening
  • Students will meet with a designated teacher faculty member for live reading circles with the other online students at scheduled times during the week      
  • A designated faculty member will have scheduled support time for small groups or 1:1 support in all subject areas.
Instruction 6-8
  • The middle school teachers will have daily scheduled times for students to come online and receive direct, online instruction from the teacher. Students will be assigned work that will be completed independently and turned in by the designated date and time. Students will follow a pre-set schedule for their classes.
