Individual VW units are generally scheduled for weeks with students in attendance for five school days. Out of necessity, a few units will be truncated (get the dictionary out!) for four-day weeks. Unit reviews and Mastery tests are scheduled after three units of study. All Mastery tests will be given on a Thursday. Monday: Choosing the Right Word Tuesday: Synonyms and Antonyms Wednesday: Completing the Sentence; Vocabulary in Context Thursday: Context assignment; test preparation Friday: Spelling, usage, and meaning test day Weekend: Review the next unit’s Power Point in preparation for Monday’s class
