FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 24, 2010 FROM GRADE 2 – ROOM 6
Dear Parent(s),
Thank you for all of your support this year. The students have all grown so much since last August, and I feel blessed to have been their teacher this year. I will cherish the memories they have given me. The students have all worked very hard this year, and even though I am sad to see them go, I know they are ready to move forward to Third Grade.
Please encourage your child to read and practice their math facts this summer. Flash cards are a great way to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills. Information about the required reading book and summer math practice will be available on the school’s website.
You are invited to join us for Mass this Tuesday at 8:30am. I will be singing with the choir so I need parents to sit with the students.
I hope everyone has a wonderful summer. I am very excited about attending an early education conference in Phoenix this June. I will also be a craft leader at the first High Seas session and the Renew session in July. This will be my sixth year leading crafts and I look forward to seeing my students there – both old and new.
Please keep our class and school families in your prayers this summer. You will all be in mine. Thank you again for a wonderful year!
