2nd Grade-Room 6!

All students begin the day with a GREEN card.

           GREEN = Behaving Appropriately

Students who are extra helpful, do acts of kindness, and set a positive example without being asked may earn the chance to turn their card to BLUE.

If a student’s behavior begins to change, the following steps may be taken:

           Step #1 = Non-verbal & Verbal Warning; Redirection

If inappropriate behavior does not change after Step #1, students will be asked to turn their card to Yellow.

           YELLOW = Slow down & think about your words & actions.

                      Step #2 = 5 minutes walking at recess

                                        & Teacher-Student Meeting

If a student continues inappropriate behavior after turning their card to YELLOW, the student must turn their card to RED.

           RED = STP (Stop Think Plan Form), 10-15 minutes walking at                              recess, & Teacher-Student meeting.

If a student receives 3 RED cards/STPs, they must serve a 30 minute detention.
