Water Bottles and Snacks Please send in a water bottle with your student EVERY day! It is very hot and extremely humid in the classroom. Recess outside is even more hot! Water is essential to keeping the students happy, healthy, and awake. Please write your child’s name on their water bottle. We have snack time at 9:30 every morning. Students only have time to eat one healthy snack and drink a small disposable liquid. Fruit, granola bars, cereal bars, carrots, crackers, and other healthy snacks will help your student get through the morning. No candy, chocolate, sugary snacks, soda, or hot cheetos are allowed. |

Ancillary Schedule Physical Education with Mr. V Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00– 1:30 pm Art Education with Mrs. Baker Tuesdays 10:00– 11:00 am (alternating weeks) Spanish with Mrs. Scheuer Tuesdays 10:00– 11:00 am (alternating weeks) And Thursdays 12:30– 1:00 pm Music Education with Mrs. Chambers Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00– 1:30 pm Computer Lab with Mrs. Feaman Fridays 12:00– 1:00 pm Library time has not been scheduled yet. |

Communication I will communicate with you in a weekly Friday newsletter. This newsletter will contain the curriculum, spelling words, and events for the next week. Graded assignments will come home on Fridays as well in a red “Take Home” folder. Be sure and go over all your students papers with him/her and finish any incomplete work. Send that work back in on Monday but keep the rest of the papers. You can also jot a quick note on the homework assignment sheet if you have a short message or question. I don’t always have time to answer those. If you need to contact me with a longer question, suggestion, or comment, email me at cfeaman@omosschool.com. Don’t forget to answer the Parent Email Poll on the newsletter each week. You can also leave a message for me in the school office at 747-1027. I will return all messages and email within 24 hours. Regular conference days are set for October 22—24. 2007. |
